Global Issue (#11)

THe global issue that i read about was about deforestation and logging. This issue started first in Sumatra and has recently spread to all around the world. WHen people go around and cut down trees, they are destroying habitat and are one of the leading causes in the green house effect. THis issue is ruining our planet and many people still take this job as what they do and don't stop cutting down trees even when they know the consuquences it is putting on our planet. Sumatra began this trend and lost many of their forests which led to people who used to have jobs losing their jobs because of the derostation ruining the habitat. People are buying land just so that they can use the trees to make palm oil or paper. This process is killing our planet. During deforestation carbon is released into the air which accounts for 20 percent ofo the world's greenhouse emissions. THis issue is one which needs to be adressed and is becoming too popular in our world to not do something about.
